This law aims to protect people from being discriminated against for their natural hair, especially within the workplace and schools. The art piece depicts the strength and beauty of natural hair, while also highlighting the importance of this legislation in promoting equality and diversity.

The inspiration behind this piece is a playlist called "Free Mind" on Spotify, the songs on the playlist can transport listeners to a state of open-mindedness and peace. Each song has its own unique energy, yet they all come together to create a harmonious and calming experience. It is a reminder of the power of music to transcend boundaries and connect us to a deeper level of consciousness.
The process of creating this piece was a journey of self-expression and experimentation. The various media used in this piece, including black charcoal, acrylic paint, soft pastels, and pencil, allowed me to experiment with different techniques and create a dynamic and layered composition. Accomplishing my goal I believe the piece, Plug In, has shown how colors can convey emotions and how music has the power to make us feel them instantly.
